Our Story

The original Spiga on West 84th Street has become a beloved neighborhood gem — a quaint, rustic Roman-style trattoria, where the aromas of slow-simmered sauces, the clinking of wine glasses, and the joyful hum of conversation create an atmosphere that feels like a timeless evening in Trastevere.

Now, across the park, a new chapter begins. At 808 Lexington Avenue and 62nd Street, the cozy, inviting — and undeniably alluring — Spiga Ristorante & Cocktail Bar opens its doors. Exuding an effortless Roman elegance, this casually sophisticated sister welcomes guests to linger over lunch, brunch, dinner, and late-night cocktails, seven days a week.

The Spiga team draws on our Italian heritage and extensive culinary experience, bringing a passion for amazing food and warm, genuine hospitality. At Spiga, Italian tradition meets artistry — every dish prepared with the finest ingredients, every moment infused with la dolce vita.

*Our dining room is designed as a cozy, intimate escape, so Monday - Saturday from 6pm on we welcome only guests 16 and older to keep that atmosphere just right. Sunday evenings we welcome families to enjoy dinner together at Spiga. We are, however, unable to accommodate strollers, high chairs, or a children’s menu. Your understanding is truly appreciated - we can’t wait to spoil you.*
